STEP BY STEP:
- Remove any crumbly areas and brush the concrete
- Spray a good quantity of water into the length of the crack
- Install the Fortafix Plus injection tubes
- Seal with Nivapatch mortar
- Inject Fortafix expanding urethane
- Remove the tubing and the excess repair mortar with a cold chisel
Before beginning a repair, you should have the Fortafix cartridges, the Fortafix Plus injection tubes, and the Nivapatch repair mortar within easy reach.

By following the manufacturer’s instructions, you will be assured of the best possible results. Before applying Fortafix / Fortafix Plus, ensure that the crack is blocked on the opposite side to avoid leaks or wasted material.
Since the Fortafix repair process requires the use of the Fortafix, Fortafix Plus and Nivapatch products, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the technical information for these products. Also knowing that the success of the injection depends on the application of the repair mortar, you should be particularly careful while applying the Nivapatch product.

Nivapatch Plus – Our high performance additive replaces the water in the Nivapatch mixture and enhances it with exceptional properties so that it can be used on exterior surfaces. Nivapatch Plus makes the Nivapatch repair mortar more flexible and more resistant to shocks and vibrations. This combination can even be applied to ceramic tiles, vinyl finishings, or surfaces covered with oil or carpet glue.
